Chiefs Update

Eric Berry has been named Defensive Rookie of the Month for December/January. In that time Berry had 39 tackles (27 solo), eight passes defensed, two interceptions with one touchdown.  Berry is the first player in Chiefs history to receive a Rookie of the Month award.

According to the Kansas City Star, Dwayne Bowe was back to Chiefs practice today. This is following his missed practice because of an illness yesterday.

Brian Waters, however, was not at the start of practice this morning. It was reported that he was at the Chiefs facility though.

ESPN's Jeffri Chadiha did a Hot Read on the Kansas City Chiefs and how they could be this year's sleeper team in the playoffs.

Bowe and Waters weren't the only ones to miss practice yesterday. Safety Ed Reed, linebacker Terrell Suggs, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, and center Matt Birk all missed practice for the Ravens.

NFL Network's senior analyst Pat Kirwan has an article on the Chiefs-Ravens matchup this weekend. This article goes through different questions about the two teams leading up to the game on Sunday.
