As I've mentioned in previous posts, the AFC West is not yet Kansas City's. The Chiefs, however, do control their own destiny over San Diego (which is almost scarier, in my opinion, then having to rely on some other team to lose). So I'm sure you all know that if the Chiefs win out we have nothing to worry about; but if you want a full spectrum of the entire playoff picture and scenarios for the Chiefs making the post season, then I have a couple of recommendations for you.
Rany Jazayerli is the writer of questionably the most successful and insightful Royals blog in America. He is also a Chiefs fan who has recently started making posts about the different playoff scenarios for the Chiefs on his site. He goes so in-depth about the scenarios that you will find yourself an expert when you are through reading it. Here it is.
The other recommendation is the ESPN playoff machine. It has different criteria available that you can select and then the games are simulated based upon that. It goes through tiebreakers and allows you to pick individual teams to win games to see how it effects the playoff picture. If you haven't checked these out already, you should.
